As we all know, September is the month of getting back to the routine, the end of the holidays or going back to school. But as far as weddings are concerned, September is not only the ninth month of the year, it is also the month. It means a lot of comfort for the bride and groom as well as for the guests, and it also offers all the advantages of a winter wedding, but with the hours of summer sun and of course, with the tan still visible.

As this is a transitional period in which the heat is on its way out, you can wear your guest dress as it deserves without having to worry about the high temperatures. But if the beginning of a new academic year means the arrival of new trends, what is the predominant thing in terms of guest looks for a mid-season wedding? Colour and fabrics trends for guests 2022

Whether for guest dresses, jumpsuits or suits, jacquard fabrics have made a strong entrance and have been proclaimed as the star trend for event looks. It is a fabric with complex prints, usually floral, very malleable, which also resists wrinkles perfectly, so it is very comfortable for a wedding and enjoy without worries.

Another trend we will see this autumn are floral prints and plant motifs, both for guest dresses, suits and jumpsuits. Flowers have already been present in our wardrobe for several seasons now, and have undoubtedly been crowned as a basic for weddings. But whether it's for everyday wear or for a BBC event, this print is a real hit, as it often stands out from the classic, print-free, monochrome guest dresses.

As for the colours, the so-called vitamin colours will be in charge of bringing joy and light to the looks this season. In the new Meryfor collection we have included vibrant red, a tone that favours blondes and brunettes par excellence, as well as colours such as turquoise, salmon, green and wine.

They are also colours that combine very well with accessories in neutral colours, such as black, silver or gold, with which you will create a perfect combination.

Guests' suit jackets

The famous two-piece already invaded the guest section last season and will continue to do so this autumn. It has become a classic that never fails to hit the mark with a guest look, placing it almost on a par with the traditional guest dress. New for this season are the jacquard print jumpsuits we've talked about before, and of course, 80's style shoulder pads and puffed sleeves.
